Springtime in the Monastery

Here are some updates from the last few weeks here in our Carmel.  We hope all of you have had a beautiful Spring and Easter Season!

Since we started putting bird seed and suet packs outside we have had so many new birds visiting our monastery. It is so exciting to see a new bird, like Woodpeckers, Nuthatches, Cowbirds and the Arkansas state bird the Mockingbird.

There were also some baby Morning Doves in our preau (courtyard) happily making themselves at home, except for new weather experiences like rain and wind:
