New Videos

If you haven’t been to our YouTube Channel lately, you haven’t seen the new videos we’ve posted. We have put them here, also. So, take a look! We pray they bless you and bring you joy.

Postulants’ Entrance Days

Our two new postulants entered just less than a week apart this past June. The Arkansas Catholic newspaper did a write up on them, which we posted awhile back. They are a joy to have with us, and are learning all about our way of life and Carmelite spirituality. Please continue to pray for them.

Election Day ’24

The psalms and prayers for Lauds (Morning Prayer in the Liturgy of the Hours) were very appropriate to the day our country was voting for the new president, among other things. We joined many Americans in fervent prayer that day, and will continue, asking God’s mercy to help us turn back to Him.

Raising Chickens

First it was bees, now it’s chickens! Our postulants are taking care of these little ones until they’re big enough to move into the coop Sr. Lucia built. We hope to have our own eggs one day. Since these shots were taken they have grown even more. We’re told they need eight weeks in their little protected area before moving outside. This apparatus they’re in is actually a raised garden bed that you put together from a box, which was kindly donated to us. It turned out to be the perfect size! It will have dirt in it someday in the future, with other live creatures growing in it (plants, not animals!).
