Advent and Christmas in Review


Each year in early December Sr. Lucia spends a whole day in the "bread room" of the basement, where she has everything she needs to make enough Christmas bread to fill us up through all the feast days of the season to come and beyond. Smelling homemade bread baking all day is quite a penance during the fasting season of Advent! We finally get to enjoy it after midnight mass with Sr. Andrea's homemade hot chocolate. Yum!

  1. having a Italian restaurant for 16 years this brings back alot of memories that daily chore of making many loafs of bread now would probably would be fun now that i am out of the business lol not to many things better than good bread and butter yum yum
