An Easter Unlike Any Other

Happy Easter 2020! The Lord is risen from the grave, broken the chains of death, freed us from eternal punishment, and opened for us the way to eternal Life! Even though we are in the midst of a world-wide health pandemic, even though we may be isolated in our homes, not able to attend the Easter Triduum or other church services, and away from family and friends and the normal ways of celebrating Easter Day, that does not change the TRUTH and the reality of the Lord’s Resurrection!

This was well put in today’s message from Franciscan University of Steubenville’s president Fr. Dave Pivonka, TOR. Let him encourage you today if you are not feeling like this is really Easter Day, because it is!
